Photoland WordPress Theme

Photoland Theme is a great photoBlog wordpress theme from wpzoom for photographers, designers and other professionals in the photo business. The first thing that you will notice on the homepage is a nice and useful jQuery slider. This minimalist layout gives you the opportunity to have larger quantities of photos (30,40,50) on the homepage and keep it as compact as possible.

Photoland Theme uses the Cufon text replacement technique, but you can disable it in the Theme Options Page. Also the theme comes bundled with 18 fonts for Cufon, all you have to do is choose them in a drop-down select box in the Theme Options Page.

Photoland Theme does not use the usual sidebar as we wanted to leave maximum space for your photos (960px). However you can add your Widgets in the footer, which is split into 4 columns of equal width.

Social Sharing icons are already built-in into the posts, so there is no need to use additional plug-ins for that.

The theme also comes with 2 special widgets:

• WPZOOM: Authors List shows a list of all contributors on your blog. This is especially useful when you have more than 1 registered authors.
• WPZOOM: Gallery allows you to include photos from a FlickR photostream. Again, no need for plug-ins.
